I live with my husband and three kids in South London, and although I love my local area, I sometimes think that I was made to live in the countryside. I’m a child of the 70’s and I now adore collecting all things mid century. Amidst the chaos of everyday life, you’ll find me editing my photos ( I love editing using VSCO presets I’ve tweaked to be my own and I’m a VSCO amabassador for the UK), throwing wonky pots on a potters wheel, attempting to practice yoga correctly, and taking my kids and dog to the local woods. My family loves Wales, and lots of the photos of my family you may have seen on my personal work page were taken there.
Having been on the planet for a while now, I am now certain of one thing; often, what seems like a truly awful experience becomes hilarious with hindsight and such memories have become the funny stories we tell around our dinner table!
The long and the short of it is that all families I know are similarly imperfect, and that all the everyday, normal days we live add up and create our future as well as our past. It’s our ordinary days spent with our loved ones that need to be preserved and remembered, which is how I came to be a photographer.
I’m also a qualified teacher and before becoming a photographer I used to teach art in schools.
I cover all areas in London. I also offer family portrait photography in many other parts of the South East including St Alban’s, Sussex, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Berkshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Kent and Surrey. I most often work in London in areas such as Dulwich, East Dulwich, West Dulwich, Herne Hill, Hackney, Clapham, Wandsworth, Battersea, Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill Gate, Wimbledon, Richmond, Kingston, Primrose Hill, Highgate and Hampstead.
