I Had A Dream by John B. Sebastian (Woodstock, 1969)
I had a dream last night
What a lovely dream it was
I dreamed we all were alright
Happy in a land of Oz
Making fine art prints of your portrait session.
This selection of shots from a recent photography session is a great example of how a CocoaJones photoshoot works. I don’t find it necessary to pose my subjects, and prefer to get natural shots by letting children be themselves in front of my camera. The result is usually a wide selection of moods and expressions to choose from that are all genuine and unique to how the children were feeling at the time. During this shoot, on account of not wanting to frighten the deer, my children were in fairly pensive, quiet moods at the time of our shoot, which helped to create an atmospheric, ethereal quality to our photographs. You can’t fabricate an atmosphere..it has to happen organically. If I had a toddler with me, I would have stayed away from the deer, and let the toddler play, laugh and go crazy in the long grass!
Once your photoshoot is done, you are sent all of your images in a private gallery so that you can decide how you would like to order them. Some people like to order all of the digital files, whilst others choose their favourites to have printed and enlarged by our specialist photo lab. We also offer bespoke framing using a local framer, for those who would like to leave the entire process, from location shoot to your wall, to us.
If you would like to venture out on location with me, at a National Trust property or a beach; we can be in London or Kent and Surrey, then contact me for more details.
