Cocoa Jones Photography is run by me- Thea- a London based family and newborn photographer, specialising in natural portrait photography in the home for families across London and the South East
I’ve been photographing beautiful, creative families at home for over 12 years.
From Primrose Hill to Hampstead and beyond, I look for extraordinary and poetic moments in everyday family life, creating photographs for families that are both natural and beautiful.
My sessions are very much child-led. Book me if you want original portraits of your kids that aren’t like any other photographer.

My approach to clients’ portrait photography sessions is no different from the way I photograph my own family; searching out beautiful moments that are interwoven into our daily lives.

Photography sessions take place in your own home, where you feel comfortable and have all you need to hand.
I will capture all the details that are so special about this time. Every individual portrait session is remarkably unique and special.
All your images are edited by hand by me. My editing style remains consistently classic and timeless.
My prices have stayed the same for many years with no hidden costs. The average family spends £450 in total.

I love to photograph poetic, everyday moments
I’ve been a family and newborn photographer in London for over 12 years. I’m also a commercial photographer, helping small businesses to grow and build a strong brand presence, and have been photographing playmats for Totter & Tumble for 7 years.
I love documenting everyday, real moments for families using photography, both digital and film. I have an MA in documentary photography and photojournalism.
One of the best things about being a family photographer is getting to meet other creative people who also love photography. It’s been an amazing privilege to photograph families as they grow, often over many years!
