Here’s just one from some work I did for a London primary school last year for their website and brochure. I really enjoyed capturing the nursery children having a hot chocolate at forest school and we were very lucky with great sunlight which looked great with all the bonfire smoke.
I have worked as an art teacher in schools before being a photographer and it was lovely to be able to blend my interest in education with photography. We were lucky to have the time in between lockdowns when schools were briefly open again. The children were all delighted to be in school again, and I could see how happy they were to be with their friends all day. I love this photo as you can see how excited the children were while waiting for their drinks to be prepared on the camping stove, and they all looked so cute in their overalls and wellies. There were lots of oohs and ahhs from the little ones as steaming chocolatey cups were passed around….I have to say I wish school was this fun when I was a child!
