Here’s a few from a recent portrait session at home with 10 day old baby Rose along with her positively radiant family.
All newborn photosessions take place in the comfort of your own home…. if you have other small children as this family does, you will find this arrangement is much easier than having photographs taken out of the home. This family had a preference for b&w images, although I offer colour as well.
My portrait photography is unplanned and authentic to who you are as a family. Utilising the best light in your home, I just aim to capture you all being yourselves at this special time. If the baby wakes up in between feeds I’ll snap some close ups of her eyes…if she’s sleeping then we go with that. The most important thing for me to capture is the family connections and the mood…how it felt like at the time to be there.
