London lifestyle newborn baby photography
Photographing newborn babies is one of my favourite things to do. Its so rewarding to be able to capture the love parents have for their new baby, and also such a privilege to be one of the first visitors they will get apart from the midwife. Plus, I never fail to find it amazing that I get to work with my type of people…my clients are more than just clients to me…they are part of my tribe and are always so fun to collaborate with. I always think that my clients have always got a lot in common with each other…they’re always crazily creative, share a strong interest in photography and have chosen to work with me because my style suits them as a family. This is why I love my job, and why I never do discounts and offers – (these attract people shopping around for a cheap deal rather than a photographer who suits them).

With newborn photography, I try to capture how it felt to be there, which is why I don’t take along a lot of studio equipment and bright lights with me to shoots. Documenting all the bonding and cuddles that happen with newborns is really important to me. All newborn babies love to be held, and it feels like the most natural approach to capturing this unique time in a family’s life.
