A portrait session with London family & baby photographer Thea
Here’s a selection of my favorites in black & white from a newborn baby portrait session in London that we did earlier in the year. It is always a delight to be one of the first people to meet new babies, and I have come to adore photographing newborns. I also particularly like black and white images when photographing babies as it’s such a timeless, classic medium that always looks great in frames and on the wall.
With my newborn baby sessions I like to get a range of shots and plenty of you all together. I look back to what I would have liked to have photographed when my kids were so small as we only ever took snaps of our three babies on our 35mm film camera…way back in the early 2000’s. Of course we treasure these photos, but its really nice to now be able to offer my portrait families fine art prints – heirloom photographs they can proudly frame and send out to relatives.
