I thought that I would post a few favourites from some 2016 family sessions, and also some of my personal projects too.
At first, I avoided writing such a post as there is a lot of work from last year that I could have shown, and editing it down to a small selection is really hard. If you have read my ramblings before, you’ll know that I feel that in order to capture the true essence of a family’s story, my approach is tailored to each individual family, rather than following a set formula. There’s always a strong narrative thread running through my work, and one of my main objectives is to honor the unique qualities and characteristics of each family and each member within that family. Last year I traveled all over London to photograph so many loving and creative families in the comfort of their own homes, visit some lovely past clients to capture more portraits now that their children were older, and I also photographed a wonderful Christening in Mayfair too.
I’m really looking forward to 2017…I’m so excited about all the family, Christening and wedding stories I’ll be photographing, and I’m also really looking forward to filming travelling with my own family to New Zealand.
I’ve also also added some of my personal project favorites as well, taken both here in England and in Italy and Wales too.
