Here are a few from a recent newborn portrait photography session, which took place in the family home. It’s been a very busy summer, with lots of newborn babies to photograph in particular. It’s always such an honor to be one of the first people to meet a new baby, and I really love photographing babies and their parents at this very special time. My photography style is very natural, and sessions are relaxed and structured around your baby’s needs, which is why I always base newborn sessions in the comfort of your own home. The best time to photograph newborn babies is the first 7-10 days, although lots of babies I photograph seem to be 2-3 weeks old, just because its difficult to arrange anything so soon after giving birth. Your home doesn’t need to be tidy, and I bring baby clothes and blankets with me, so you don’t need to buy anything either. Once you’ve booked, I will be in touch to plan your session, because every family I meet wants different things according to their situation and taste.
