North London family photographer
Here are are few images from a recent family portrait photography shoot in North London’s Primrose Hill. The family wanted to have their images at home and also based in their local area, Primrose Hill, before embarking on travels abroad as a reminder of their time in London. Autumn time in London is a great time to have your family portrait session outside, as the light is soft and golden at this time of year and the trees are all turning brown. There is something really special about Primrose Hill at any time of year, and it’s always fun to get a shot which includes the amazing views across London. I love to shoot around Primrose Hill, and many of my regular families who live there often like to pop outside to use the pretty local streets as a backdrop for some photographs once they’ve had some taken at home first. It’s also not too far from Belzize park and Hampstead, where there are some more lovely locations to shoot, including woodland, the heath, and yet more pretty cobbled streets. London has always been where I am based, and its been very good to me for the 10 years that I have been photographing families here. There is such a range of locations and North London is always one that I will never tire of. I also sometimes visit Hampstead in my own time to swim in the ladies’ pond, although they are very strict about not having any photography allowed in there! If you would like some outdoor portraits done, but you’re not sure about the location, then get in touch and we can chat about some of the possibilities that London holds.
If you are interested in having a family portrait shoot either outside, at home, or maybe a mixture of both, then get in touch as I would love to hear from you. There are many beautiful parks and woods in all parts of London, so have a think about whether you would like to stay in your local area, as this family did, or perhaps venture further afield.
