Triplets Christening in Hampstead, London
This was the first time I’ve ever photographed triplets…it was a dream to photograph this lovely family in a documentary style on a long awaited day.
The ceremony took place at St Mary’s Chapel in Hampstead, with Villa Bianca for lunch a short stroll away…with everyone taking it in turns to hold the babies both to the chapel and restaurant. It wasn’t only three babies who were there…look out for a trio of dachshunds owned by the babies’ grandparents.
I feel very lucky to photograph such amazing clients…and when they entrust me to capture everything that matters by asking me to ‘do my thing’ it really is the best feeling! Not having any group shots to break the flow, or any constraints of any kind, I was able to concentrate on getting all the little fleeting moments and seek out the little stories within the whole story.
Storytelling is at the heart of what I love to do…whether its a wedding, a Christening or a family session…there’s always lots of narrative threads that weave in and out throughout the day and bind together to tell an honest, full story of the day.
If you would like me to document your Christening in a natural and un-posed way so that you can remember how it actually felt to be there, then get in touch and we can start making plans!
