Here are a few from a wonderful wedding I photographed this summer in Kent. Ted and Emily had a wonderful service at their local village church, with their reception back at their family home in Kent.
My approach to weddings is reportage, with some portraits of the couple taken in a very short window at a time when they won’t be missed as well. I edit all of the images myself in both b&w and colour. I actually photographed far more weddings than I do now about 10 years ago, but I have now found the perfect balance of family portraits, commercial work, Christenings and weddings. I now photograph only a select few weddings each year, so that I can give the couple all of my attention and deliver photographs that I am proud of and that I know the family will cherish. Each wedding that I have photographed has been a true privilege, and I feel like I know the couples really well by the end of the day after spending so long together. Every moment is important, both the small ones and of course the bigger ones too, and I try and capture them all with an astute and sensitive eye and unobtrusive presence.
If you are interested in finding out more about my wedding photography service please get in touch as soon as possible, as I have two opportunities to book in for 2024.
