Hello! I’m Thea and Cocoa Jones Photography is my London based family and newborn photography business that I established in 2014. I’m a natural portrait photographer offering portrait sessions in the home for families across London and the South East.
I’ve been photographing beautiful, creative families at home as a London family portrait photographer for over 12 years.
From Primrose Hill to Hampstead and beyond, I look for extraordinary and poetic moments in everyday family life, creating photographs for families that are both natural and beautiful.
My sessions are very much child-led. Book me if you want original portraits of your kids that aren’t like any other photographer. I offer both digital and analogue photography, and I love both black and white and colour portraits. I also create prints, mounts and photo books, with both softcover and leather bound Folio heirloom albums. Now you can store and display your photographs around your home, and share tangible hard copies with family and friends. No more low res phone images and digital clutter! Only beautiful handcrafted prints.

Portrait photography sessions take place in your own home, where you feel comfortable and have all you need to hand.
I will capture all the details that are so special about this time. Every individual portrait session is remarkably unique and special.
All your images are edited by hand by me. My photography style has remained consistently classic and timeless.
I’ve also been the in house photographer for Totter & Tumble play mats for 7 years, so take a look at their website to see my photography there.

Having three grown up children of my own, I get it. You just want some beautiful photographs of your family, maybe some with you in them as well for a change. These days it seems as though there is so much choice when you try and do anything. Using my 12 years of experience in business as a children’s photographer, I aim to make the whole process easy for you, from booking a session to the session itself and downloading and printing your beautiful images for frames and albums.
My one piece of advice for anyone planning a session? Print your photographs afterwards! Don’t let them end up on your hard drive or live on a screen. I can help you with the process of choosing and printing.Your photographs can add life to your walls, shelves and maybe a low down coffee table where everyone, including the kids, can look at books easily.

I love to photograph poetic, everyday moments
I’ve been a family and newborn photographer in London for over 12 years. I’m also a commercial photographer, helping small businesses to grow and build a strong brand presence, and have been photographing playmats for Totter & Tumble for 7 years.
I love documenting everyday, real moments for families using photography, both digital and film. I have an MA in documentary photography and photojournalism.
One of the best things about being a family photographer is getting to meet other creative people who also love photography. It’s been an amazing privilege to photograph families as they grow, often over many years!

I offer one main Family photography package that is designed to make the experience of booking a session as easy as possible for you. My prices have stayed the same for many years with no hidden costs. The average family spends £500 in total. If you would like prints and albums you can order these after the session.
