headshots done differently…

Whenever I have photographed whole teams at their workplace, people always comment about how different my sessions feel in comparison to past experiences. The photographs I take also don’t fit a stereotypical idea of what a headshot ‘should’ look like…each portrait is individual and there is no set formula. In fact, people always tell me that they found their head shot session fun! In the past it was quite rare to find a female headshot photographer…I do think that independent female photographers have a particularly sensitive way of approaching what could be an otherwise intimidating experience of having your photograph taken in a corporate setting with big photography teams and lots of lights and equipment. Luckily, that’s mostly a thing of the past!
