It’s a special season in one’s life
when two becomes three.
Dillie was so sweet natured,
and there was a lovely sense of calm and order on this relaxed Saturday afternoon.
I am wistful for those early days with my firstborn baby again,
with long summer days stretching ahead of them…
time and space in abundance
the special bond between these new parents and their beautiful babe grows deeper each day.

A portrait session can be tailored to your taste, and we will discuss the sort of images you are hoping for before your session. I like to loosely plan how our time will be spent, although it is always best if we renin flexible and attuned to the baby’s needs. Doing everyday things such as bathing, feeding, changing and not to mention lots of playing are always good opportunities for fantastic photos that you will want to treasure in years to come.
It’s also important that as well as having lovely photographs of your baby on their own, you have some photos of the whole family together and take the chance to include the person in the photographs who usually takes the family’s pictures. In this particular set of baby Dillie and her parents, i love the images that show the love and interaction between them all at different moments during the day. Bath time and laying Dillie down to sleep is usually with Mum in the household, where as Dad normally likes to feed Dillie her bottle and help to change her. It’s because the family were used to these rituals that everyone looks so happy and content.
